Nersa Looky Djobo is the Central Africa Operations Manager at World
Resources Institute (WRI), where he oversees and manages all operational
processes for WRI project offices in the Democratic Republic of Congo
and in the Republic of Congo in accordance with each country’s laws and
WRI policies and procedures including finance and accounting, budgeting,
risk management, grants and contract stewardship and compliance,
registration and legal affairs, human resources, office administration,
business planning, information systems, and facilities management. He
works closely with the operations support teams to enable the smooth
functioning of all core functions for WRI offices located in the Central
Africa region by building local staff capabilities and accessing global
expertise. He was formerly a Financial Analyst and Internal Auditor at
Family Health International, where his work focused on analyzing and
reviewing financial performance of international programs; conducting an
annual risk assessment of all programs; and performing internal
financial, operational and system audits on domestic and international
programs. Nersa Looky Djobo holds bachelor degrees in Economics and
Statistics, and is currently pursuing his master of science in
Accounting and Financial Management.
