Paul Adjei, MD - Board member

Paul Adjei, MD, is currently a Global Health Infectious Diseases Research Fellow at the Tufts Medical Center and the Tufts University Clinical and Translational Science Institute. His area of interest is health services research specifically in resource-limited settings and developing countries.

He was born, raised and educated (including Medical School) in Ghana before coming to the USA to pursue Residency and Fellowship training. He served as a Medical Chief Resident and Hospitalist Program Director before moving on into research. He worked with United Nations Peacekeeping as a Medical Officer in various conflict areas in Africa before coming to the USA.

He believes that his background being similar to the DACE target population uniquely positions him to better understand the challenges to be met and the requirements to overcome them.
