Daniel Payne is the Director (Ghana) of DACE foundation and Public Relations Officer with Ghana Education Service.

Prior to this role, Daniel was the Executive Director of Egyam Children’s Home (2007-2018), a nonprofit organization addressing the needs of orphans and empowering them to reach their potentials. During the peak of his service at Egyam Children’s Home, Daniel had over 60 children and 8 full-time staff under his care. His passion for children’s welfare and his selfless attitude to services knows no bound. Daniel is a member of Diocesan Communication Team of the Catholic Diocese of Sekondi-Takoradi and hosts the church program dubbed Catholic Hour on Ghana’s Twin City FM 94.7.

In earlier years, Daniel held several teaching posts within the Ahanta West district. He took the prize for second place at the prestigious National Best Teacher Award in ICT category Ghana (2008). Daniel holds a Master’s Degree in Education Administration, Bachelors and Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’ from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
